This short film shares the learning from a research project commissioned by the charity Open Country, which supports disabled people to access the countryside, and funded by one of the ISJ's Community Research Grants. YSJ researchers consulted both disabled people and accessible watersports charities about the value of - and barriers to - access to open water for swimming, boating, kayaking etc. Poet and wild swimmer Kate Fox shaped their contributions into an evocative poem.
