My research focuses on three areas, namely, executive function, personality and psychometrics. All three intersect across athletic expertise and the individual differences associated with elite athletes. I have published in leading psychology journals (Personality and Individual Differences) collaborating with international colleagues (Dr Sylvain Laborde). Moreoever, I have presented my work at both national and international conferences. My research has been funded by several internal and external agencies. Finally, I supervise and examine students completing BSc Hons, MSc/MRes, and PhD level qualifications.
