During a week-long residency at the Defibrillator Gallery, Chicago, Hind and Winters investigated the concept of deadness, exploring the relationship between dead objects, materials, personalities, and dreams. They worked to create a 5-act structure for live performance, to share the gallery to a public audience. The work explored how the dead are all around us in culture, and how society becomes obsessed with dead objects. They named the show - Five Dead Acts Five Dead Cat. Subsequently performed at the McGee Gallery York on 2nd November 2015. |
