Abstract

The project reviewed research data as well as existing competency frameworks(British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)humanistic competencies;the Counselling for Depression (CfD)competencies) and developed a framework for domestic abuse practitioners. The framework can form the basis of training for practitioners working with domestic violence.
