Biography:

Adam's current research interests are in Utopian/dystopian and Science Fictions. He also publishes in the fields of modernist studies, critical theory, and cultural and intellectual history. What ties these interdisciplinary areas together is a desire to better understand how narrative and form can be mobilised to make political arguments. His monograph entitled 'Modern Dystopian Fiction and Political Thought: Narratives of World Politics' is published by Routledge (2019). More recently he's been working on projects on dystopia and migration; ecotopias; and SF and deserts.
