Biography:

Jamie is an experienced academic having taught in various HE institutions across a range of Sports related programmes. Jamie has extensive applied experience in professional sport, most notably football and rugby and currently works with a range of athletes of various abilities. Jamie is accredited with both he UKSCA and BASES and always looks to adopt an evidence informed approach to both teaching and professional practice.

Qualifications:

Jamie graduated from Liverpool John Moores University with a degree in Science and Football in 2007 and has since completed an MSc in Strength and Conditioning as well obtaining professional accreditation with the UKSCA (ASCC), BASES (Support) and the Science Council as Chartered Scientist. Jamie has a post graduate qualification (PGCE) in teaching and learning (Huddersfield University) and is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). Jamie is also a qualified Sports Massage Therapist (Level 4) and a UK Anti-Dopig advisor.
