Following graduation from the University of Huddersfield Simon began practising as a freelance Graphic Designer, working with a range of regional, national and international clients. His work has been featured in 'Creative Review' and within the French translation of Jan Tschichold's 'The Ampersand it's History and Origin'. He has exhibited widely in London including at 'The Proud Archivist', 'Downstairs at Mother Advertising Agency', Sonos Studios, and The Peoples History Museum in Manchester. Simon curated the 2014 'Leeds Print Festival', the 2015 'Chapter 4/5' exhibition at Leeds Central Library, and the 2016 'Money Is?' exhibition at Bank House in Leeds. Having completed a PGCE and Masters degree at the University of Hertfordshire Simon is Associate Head of the Design department. Simon is a Fellow of the HEA and a member of the Graphic Design Educators Network, presenting a conference paper at their annual conference in 2016 at Cardiff School of Art & Design.
