I am the Interim Associate Head for English Literature, but was previously the Liberal Arts Course Lead and the Learning and Teaching Lead for the School of Humanities. I have previously taught on English literature and language modules at the University of Leicester and the University of Nottingham, mainly focused on the medieval period. Prior my role at York St John I led the Arts and Humanities Foundation Year at the University of Leeds, teaching across a range of interdisciplinary modules focusing on the interdisciplinary English Renaissance, modern and post-modern literature and the interplay of elements in sources, especially film and media. I have also taught extensively on academic and employability skills including specific modules and integrated provision as well as stand alone events and programmes.
