Dr. Aminu Usman is the Associate Professor in Computer and Data Science at York St John University, UK, and an academic in network security and the Internet of Things. Dr. Aminu completed his Ph.D. research in the area of trust-based protocols for wireless mobile networks and security at Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand, and a master's degree in network security at Middlesex University, London. His main research interests include trust, privacy, the security of packet-oriented networks, and the Internet of Things. In addition to his teaching and research responsibilities, Dr. Aminu also mentors graduate students and is actively involved in outreach programs on cybersecurity programs. Dr. Aminu has also been involved in various professional organizations, serving on committees, as a reviewer, and as an editorial board member for journals.
