Biography:

Jeryl is currently a postgraduate researcher at York St John University. His PhD project aims to understand how trait perfectionism interacts to predict wellbeing and coping among Filipino university students. Apart from his postgraduate work, he is a licensed psychologist in the Philippines and presently a senior lecturer from the Department of Psychology at the University of the Philippines Diliman (UPD). He also obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and my Master of Arts degree in Psychology at UPD. His research interests include perfectionism, (self-)compassion, stress, coping strategies, and students’ psychological and academic needs. https://orcid.org/0000-0002-5547-4065
