Jasmine Childs-Fegredo is an HCPC registered and BPS chartered counselling psychologist. She has worked in research, teaching, and clinical practice in U.K-based universities and in the U.K National Health Service (NHS). She carried out research into the early identification of mental health issues in schools at the University of Cambridge, before taking up a lectureship at the University of Roehampton. She also worked in an NHS CAMHS service delivering CBT and DBT-informed therapy to children, young people and their families. She currently works as a senior lecturer at York St John University teaching on a doctoral programme in counselling psychology. Jasmine is interested in translating research on mind-body interventions into clinical practice to enhance client outcomes. She is a trained yoga teacher (YT-800) and Vipassana meditator, holds a certificate in Yoga Psychology, and aims to retain the spiritual essence of yoga in its application in healthcare.
