Biography:

I am passionate about sports performance, and have established a research profile in biomechanics and sports science. I completed both my undergraduate and masters’ degrees at The Auckland University of Technology in Auckland, New Zealand. I then moved to Australia, and in early 2021 was awarded my PhD from Macquarie University in Sydney, where my research focused on the use of wearable technology such as GPS and inertial measurement units to measure and understand the running demands of professional rugby league match-play, so that this information could better inform practitioners and high-performance staff when making decisions around player load.
