I have worked in education as a primary school teacher and HE academic for over 30 years. I have always had an interest in evaluating effective learning for children - particularly those in under represented groups. This has also impacted my HE profile, where I am passionate not only about working inclusively with our students but also enabling them to be impactful when they become teachers. My research areas are embedded in practice such as a longitudinal study of student teacher identity development.
