Dr Sahar Ahmadzadeh is a Lecturer in Computer Science and Data Science at York St John University, London, where she serves as Module Director for Artificial Intelligence Concepts and Statistical Programming and Deputy Module Director for Agile Software Development. She holds a PhD in Electronic Systems Engineering from the University of Essex and has over eight years of academic and research experience across several UK universities, including the University of Bedfordshire, the University of East Anglia, the University of Bolton, and the University of Essex. Her research focuses on Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence, smart grids, wireless sensor networks, and sustainable technology applications such as smart health and food waste reduction. She has published in internationally recognised journals including IEEE Access, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, and Sustainability, and has contributed to externally funded projects such as Interreg North-West Europe (REAMIT) and Innovate UK Knowledge Transfer Partnerships. Dr Ahmadzadeh is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), an active peer reviewer for international journals, and a committed advocate for equality, diversity, and inclusion in STEM
