I graduated from the University of Bradford with a first class honours degree in Midwifery Studies in 2012. Following this, I entered clinical practice and became a rotational midwife based at Bradford Royal Infirmary and then at Airedale General Hospital. In 2016, I entered Midwifery Research based at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and led on a variety of studies, including those investigating genetic disorders and the PARROT trial which has changed NHS practice in the management of pre eclampsia. In 2018, I graduated from the University of Leeds with a Master of Science in Advanced Practice. I also returned to full clinical practice, as a postnatal midwife. I am qualified in the Newborn Infant Physical Examination (NIPE) and have a specialist interest in Infant Feeding.
