I worked as a primary school teacher for twenty-two years before moving to higher education. I currently work on the ITE programme specialising in primary mathematics, science and computing. My research focuses on the transformative journey from class teacher to teacher educator. I use autoethnography and narrative inquiry to explore this journey. From this I am interested in the induction processes of universities and what can be provided for teachers in primary schools who want to move into higher education. I also continue to explore the use of technology and how these skills can be used to share teaching and learning
