Biography:

During my professional career I have worked in three universities including York St John University which I joined in 2004 as Head of Programme for taught post graduate programmes in Education. I teach on both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the School of Education and supervise doctoral researchers. I also have overseas experience teaching the Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice (PCAP) in Bahrain and I was a member of a team evaluating a professional development programme for teachers in Qatar. I have a strong track record of research and publications and have presented papers at conferences both nationally and internationally. Qualifications:

I studied as an undergraduate at the University of Leeds after which I completed a PGCE, a Master’s degree in Education and a PhD (University of Manchester).
