Biography:

I qualified as a physiotherapist in 1990 and gained my MSc in 2000 whilst continuing to work clinically in neurology. In 2003 I became a lecturer practitioner, working part time at York St John and part time as a physiotherapist in neurological rehabilitation. In 2005 I moved full time to York St John to commence a part time PhD whilst teaching. The doctorate was achieved in 2011 and I now work part time teaching and researching, with a current focus on multiple sclerosis and self-management.
