Biography:

I am Director and founder of Converge, a project working in collaboration with the university and the NHS to offer educational opportunities to adults who use mental health services. For this work received an MBE in 2019. I have a background in psychiatric nursing and Dramatherapy and have taught in both occupational therapy and arts departments. I am a performing member of Playback Theatre York. My research interests lie in mental health evaluations, theatre and health and more generally in arts and health.
