In my current role, I have a diverse range of responsibilities, including lecturing, developing inclusive sport and applying for external funding.
I lecture on undergraduate modules. Recently, this has included lecturing on a Research, Practice and Citizenship Module for level one School of Sport Students. This has allowed me to draw upon my 20+ years experience of working with people with mental health issues and challenge the social injustices surrounding their right to participate in sport and exercise.
In partnership with Converge, I have delivered a level one vocational qualification for people with mental health issues. This is the first time that anyone from Converge has completed a formal qualification through the university.

In addition, I have taught on the SCORE enrichment programme: Success Confidence Opportunities Resilience Empowerment. This programme has been designed to enhance the personal and professional development for the School of Sport students.
I am responsible for coordinating and developing inclusive sport. Again, this builds on the notion of the 'right to play'. To support this, I explore and apply for external funding.
I have recently started a PhD.
