Biography:

Coming late to academia from roles such as System Manager and HR Manager I graduated with the faculty prize and joined the teaching staff as a lecturer. Taking on the development of the first distance learning course offered by YSJU saw me become Senior lecturer and now I have a number of different points of focus: 1.supported by the research from my PhD I am leading on student support within school. 2. passionate about employability skills I run the placement year module 3. supported by my coaching qualification I represent the wellbeing champions offering staff support 4. supporting external businesses and individuals through coaching work 5. mentoring and assessment of academic staff through HEA
