Abstract

This research explores integrating blockchain technology into disaster management frameworks, specifically focusing on flood relief efforts in Bayelsa State, Nigeria. By analyzing the roles of various stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and service providers, the study highlights the potential benefits of a unified platform for improved coordination and resource allocation. The proposed application of a blockchain solution from the Hyperledger Foundation aims to enhance existing emergency strategies, ultimately leading to more effective disaster response and recovery efforts.
