Abstract

The performance ritual From Death to Life is an activist feminist ritual, reforming the Anglican Mass. In From Death To Life Unio Jill use the mechanism of ritual, meaning-making through song, voice, and the collective political experience, inviting the audience to participate in the (un)familiar call and response trope. Union Jill use performance art and storytelling as trans-disciplinary research.
