Union Jill (Helen Turner and Sharon Jagger) is a feminist folk music duo that writes and performs songs that critique, satirise and reimagine stories that women inhabit. As feminist performers, our motivation to intervene in these contemporary and historic tales that are rooted in protest and pedagogy. The process is haunted by the performance activism that proceeded from feminism’s second wave onwards. Two is their second album, released 7th January, 2010
