Abstract

In this symposium we discussed three co-produced academic journal articles exploring men's mental health and suicide prevention. Using research from the Menfulness charity we discussed why men do not attend counselling and psychotherapy; how men use Menfulness podcasts to help combat loneliness and encourage real-world participation in Menfulness events and what men gain from attending a number of different emotionally connected events held in public spaces.
