The exhibition will feature a range of sketchbooks from artists represented by the Rabley Drawing Centre, including Sally Taylor, Sandy Sykes, Meryl Ainslie and Sara Lee. Additional featured artists include Simon Callery, Rod Bugg, Iwan Gwyn Parry, Jayne Bingham, Richard Gant, Craig Staff, Michael Evans, James Engel and Stefan Gant. Another exciting element to the exhibition is that images from the sketchbooks, including student work will appear alongside sketchbooks from the Tate Gallery Archive through the new ‘Albums’ feature of the Tate Britain website; the Tate has agreed to showcase The Sketchbook Today exhibition as their headline feature in the on-line albums section from 8th June.
