We composed the song especially for the festival, to walk and make connection between land and sky, to celebrate Dark Skies in National Parks UK and the work they are doing. We walked for a few miles, in the dark, switching off our head torches, and with crowd of participants to the high moor of Blakey Ridge. Here we engaged in slow, silent walking to a full moon with passing dramatic clouds that then revealed in detail, the extraordinary patterns of the star constellations while we played our new release as a silent disco, with headphones. The performance was open to the public and was experienced as performance as part of the Nationwide festival.
