Creators: | Hind, Claire |
Abstract: | Screen Test was a practice as research interactive performance which invited conference members to take part in a series of social science experiments which were then recorded, edited and shown to the conference audience as a gallery exhibition during the conference. Screen Test is one to one performance where the viewer transforms into a player in a game between director and performer, audience and camera. It enacts the idea of audience as witness to, and subject of, a performance event. It invites you into the closet to investigate the possibilities of performance in an enclosed space as both a participant and a viewer of the work. |
